Yarn spinning
Spinning is a process of manufacturing string or yarn from fibers. Natural fibers like cotton, and viscose are cleaned, made parallel, drafted, and twisted to form a strand with adequate properties through hand or through a chain of machines.
Core spinning:
Core-spinning is a process by which fibers are twisted around an existing yarn, either filament or staple spun yarn, to produce a sheath-core structure in which the already formed yarn is the core. Core-spun yarns are two-component structures with Core and sheath. Normally spun fibers like polyester, cotton, viscose, etc are twisted around filaments like elastane to produce stretch yarns.
Dual-core spinning:
Dual-Core spinning is an advanced version of core spinning where 2 core yarns or being specific, 2 elastane in the core are covered with sheath fibers.
Blend spinning:
Blend spinning is also a type of spinning process where 2 or more fibers of different characteristics are mixed to form yarn of combined properties. Some of the popular blends are – Cotton / Polyester, Polyester/Viscose, Cotton/Viscose, etc.
Filament spinning
Manmade fibers like polyester, nylon, and polypropylene are made with this process. A liquid polymer is extruded through a spinneret to form continuous filaments.
Texturizing:
Texturising or texturizing is the process by which synthetic fibres are modified to change their texture – the physical appearance of the fibre. Or Simply we can say, texturizing is a process of imparting natural fibre properties especially aesthetics to synthetic fibres.
